How to Make a
Donation
Donations may be made in many ways:
1. You may donate your time as a Volunteer.
Volunteers have been the lifeblood of MADD since its beginning.
Without the grass roots support of millions of dedicated people, MADD
would not exist.
2. You may donate money directly to the Orange County chapter:
Money donated directly to our chapter supports programs in Orange
County.
3. You may donate money or gift items for our Annual T-Shirt Design Contest,
our Annual Essay Contest, our
Community Recognition event or other special events.
4. You may donate your car via the Vehicle Donation Program.
5. You may become a member of MADD. Membership
is free as of September 1, 2003. You may make a donation in any
amount. Your donation supports our chapter's
local activities.
- Via online form - fill in the information and it will be sent to us.
- Via US Mail - fill out the form and mail to
us.
6. You may donate money to any another individual chapter or state
office. See the MADD National
website for contact information. Donations made directly to an
individual chapter support programs in that local area. Donations
made to a state organization are used for statewide programs.
7. You may donate money to the National
office of MADD, which supports MADD's programs across the
country. The MADD National website
has forms for electronic donations by credit card (Visa or MasterCard)
or by US mail.
8. You may become a Corporate Sponsor at the chapter level, the state
level or at the national level. Corporate sponsors may restrict
their donations to support particular programs, such as Youth Programs
or the Law Enforcement program. They may also provide general
support. Examples of corporate
sponsors in Orange County.
Contact us for more information about
any of the above programs.
The United Way Community Campaign allows donors to make a charitable giving choice that suits each individual's social concerns. Donors can designate
MADD Orange County on the line "Other Qualified Nonprofit Organization."
We truly appreciate those who have made the choice to give directly to MADD. Their gifts have enabled this chapter to make a
difference.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
