April 9, 2009Nick Adenhart, "The Orange County Register" photo by Kevin Sullivan

MADD Orange County offers our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart & Henry Pearson

Mothers Against Drunk Driving sends itsCourtney Stewart from "The Orange County Register" condolences to all of the family and friends affected by the passing of Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart & Henry Pearson.  We also send well wishes to Jon Wilhite for a speedy recovery.  Our thoughts go out to the families of those we lost.

Behind every drunk driving crash statistic is a person whose life was full of family and friends, love and life, joy and laughter.  Collectively, they are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Their lives touched so many and they will never be forgotten.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving Victim Services:

Among the many feelings you and your family members may experience, there is the belief that no one understands what you are going through.  Henry Pearson, from www.tmz.com

MADD’s trained Victim Advocates are available to assist and support you as you move toward rebuilding your life.  Many of these Victim Advocates are themselves victims of this crime; they can help and they understand.

Though we have many public awareness campaigns and educational programs to stop drunk driving, our primary concern is providing support services to the victims and survivors of this crime.

Coping with the trauma of a drunk driving crash is difficult.  Please remember that the following MADD services are available to you:

  • Literature
  • Emotional support
  • Monthly support group
  • Information about court proceedings and your rights
  • Court accompaniment (under most circumstances)
  • Advocacy – speaking on your behalf
  • Referral to community resources

MADD’s victims services are always free of charge.

The services of MADD are made possible by the wonderful donations made by the Orange County community.  MADD is 100% supported by donations and is truly appreciative of the support.

We help survivors survive.
