The direct result of the dedicated work of many in the law enforcement community has been improved DUI enforcement throughout California. To those officers who have dedicated many years to the lifesaving work of DUI enforcement, persevering, consistently removing impaired drivers from our streets year after year year we dedicate the following:
They have stood between us and the suffering, thousands of times. They will be, or have been, transferred to other duties. They will retire. They will move on. But what they have done will not be forgotten, because they have chosen to care enough to overcome the obstacles. They will tell you they have only done their jobs, but they have done it with extraordinary caring and diligence. On behalf of those who have been saved, who don't know that they were saved, who don't know they exist, MADD thanks them.
This year's contest theme is "Set The Standard" and will include donated prom-oriented prize packages valued between $300.00 - $500.00. For more information, rules and entry forms, please call our office. MADD Orange County is hosting our 2nd Annual Essay Contest for 1st - 6th grades. This program teaches our children the importance of not getting into the car with an intoxicated driver, as well as educating them about drug and alcohol use.
